Full color mulitouch screen and per-frequency joy. That's the flagship message being delivered for the latest edition to the Pioneer DJ stable of pro dj gear, Pioneer's DJM 2000. So if your head has only just stopped spinning after the release of the long awaited CDJ2000 then sit down because its time to take another dose of tech spec glory and hardware envy.
A four-channel mixer built around a 5.8 inch multitouch screen housing enough knobs, buttons, sliders and LED's to turn any acid trip into a multi-dimension space walk into the land of electronic tweaking bliss. So what's so great about this mixer? Well for starters it has a new direction in design with a moulded front panel and an intuitive layout of controls to enhance performance and arrangement of music.
The industry first 5.8 inch large LCD multi-touch panel display enables DJ's to hear and see the results of the onboard effects along with the Frequency Mix that facilitates a more precise music mix. In additional there is a Side Chain feature with seven kinds of dynamic effects, and four types of MIDI mode that allow the DJ to use a computer, making every DJing scene and DJ playing style possible.
The DJM2000 is the perfect companion or one night stand for the recently released CDJ 2000 with PRODJLINK capabilities, USB and SD card sharing, Rekordbox LINK, Live sampling that can be recorded through the DJM 2000 and sent out from the CDJ 2000 (Mad!), and a host of other fly busting features that need to be seen to believed.
